Wausa, Osmond, Bloomfield, Center, Verdigre. These towns and communities are just the people Dr. Ann Feidler Klein and Dr. Jeff Klein are hoping to reach and serve with their new satellite clinic.
Feidler Eye Clinic is a family owned and run business based out of Norfolk, NE. Seeing the need to meet people closer to home, they made the decision in January 2021 to invest new energy in the Northeast Nebraska rural areas.
If you visit the Wausa satelite clinic, you’ll be welcomed by Alex Noble and Dr. Jackson Kube, both young, motivated Nebraska natives with a passion for what they do.
Alex graduated from Battlecreek, NE, served in the military, and has been with Feidler Eye Clinic for seven years now. She started as a Certified Para Technician and now serves as a Certified Para Optometric.
Dr. Kube comes from Norfolk, NE and graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan later earning his doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry.
The Wausa satellite clinic offers all comprehensive exams (contacts, glasses, diabetes exams, glaucoma macular degeneration, etc.) and can accommodate all regular/routine checkups. “We do have more machines and specific testing up in Norfolk,” explains Dr. Kube, “but if we need that testing done, we’d do that once a year up in Norfolk and then all other visits would be up here.”
The Wausa clinic is located at 500 E Broadway St. Wausa, NE 68786 and is open every other Tuesday from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
