In July, the Wausa Community Foundation granted funding to both Wausa Public Schools and the Village of Wausa. Denise Albrecht, a board member of the foundation, presented a $1,000 grant to Brad Hoesing, Wausa School Superintendent, to support the Wausa FBLA in their participation at the National Leadership Conference. Moreover, a $2,000 grant was awarded to the Village of Wausa and presented to Dawn Baue, Operations Manager, to provide free swimming lessons for children in the community.
