With recent assistance in spearheading the project from the Parent Council, the Wausa Public School is planning on doing a much-needed improvement for the students with new playground equipment. The project will be exciting for the students and the community. Projects like these are possible many times with special support from alumni and friends.
The late William “Bill” Kirby, Jr. had not lived in Wausa for many years but always had Wausa in his heart. Bill’s family wanted to support a Wausa community project and chose the playground equipment fund. Two of the family members pictured are Neil and Greg Kirby who made a donation on behalf of Bill.
Additional funds like the Kirby’s contribution are welcome and can be sent to the Wausa Public School Playground Funds, The Wausa Public School Foundation or the Wausa Community Foundation. Your generous giving will be appreciated!
